Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
I've never used AI before. Can you still help me?
Yes. We'll start with what you already know and what you want to do. I'll explain each step clearly and give you time to practice, so you can use AI for tasks that matter to your business.
Do I have to pick one service, or can I make additional requests?
You don't have to figure out which category fits before contacting me. Tell me what you're trying to accomplish, and we can put together a plan that combines services or addresses a specific request.
Do you only work with brand-new businesses?
No. I work with businesses that are just getting started and with established owners who need help with their website, technology, business setup, or AI.
Services & Pricing
What's the difference between your three services?
Full Launch & Build is for a larger, coordinated project. With your input, I will create and bring together pieces such as your website, branding, and business documents. Tech & Business Setup is for a specific project or fix, such as setting up a domain or professional email, creating a Google Business Profile, building a standalone website, or updating an existing one. AI Coaching is one-on-one help learning to use AI for your own business, from your first prompts to more involved workflows.
How much does this cost?
Full Launch & Build starts at $3,500, and a standalone website starts at $2,500. AI Coaching is $125 for a 60-minute session. A one-time Website Checkup & Improvement Plan is $350. Tech & Business Setup is quoted by project, with small projects starting at $250. After we discuss your needs, I'll give you a clear price before work begins.
What's included in a Website Checkup & Improvement Plan?
For $350, I personally review up to five public pages. I start by learning whom you want to reach and what you want visitors to do. Then I check how the relevant pages work on a phone, whether a prospective client can find the information they need, and whether basic search access or page information needs attention. You'll receive a short, prioritized improvement plan, draft wording for one important change in your business's voice, and a conversation about what to do first. This is a one-time review. If you'd like me to make the changes or provide ongoing help, I'll quote that separately.
Website & AI Visibility
What matters most when building or improving a website?
First, your clients should be able to understand what you offer, whether it's right for them, and how to contact you. I also make the site's information clear and accessible so search engines and other tools have a better chance of understanding it.
How can you improve my website so I reach more clients?
I help make it easier for the right people to understand what you offer, decide whether it fits their needs, and take the next step. That may mean clearer service descriptions, better answers to common questions, or a simpler way to contact you. I also pay attention to how clearly your public pages describe the business to search and AI tools.
Does my website need to work well on mobile phones?
Yes. Someone visiting on a phone should be able to read the page comfortably, find what they need, and tap a button to contact or book with you. I build with mobile use in mind and can review an existing site for problems that make those steps difficult.
How can I improve my chances of being mentioned in AI chats like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini?
I can help you state clearly what your business does, who it helps, where it works, and how someone can get in touch. I can also check for technical barriers that may prevent search and AI tools from accessing your public site. These steps give the tools better information to work with.
What do SEO, AEO, and GEO mean?
SEO, or search engine optimization, is the work of helping search engines find and understand your website. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) are terms people use when discussing how content may appear in answers from search and AI tools. For a small business, I start with the fundamentals: useful information, clear wording, accessible pages, and an easy next step for clients.
Working Together
What happens after I reach out?
You'll fill out a short contact form on the site. Based on what you're interested in, I'll send a short questionnaire to learn more about your needs. Then we'll set up a call to discuss the details, and I'll follow up with a plan and pricing.
What's your background?
I spent a decade in education and have worked in business operations where I learned how clear processes and the right tools can improve how a business serves its clients. I also earned a certificate in Applied Generative AI from Johns Hopkins University. I bring those experiences together to explain technology clearly, understand how your business actually works, and help you use AI in practical ways that reflect your voice and values.
Where are you located? Do you work in person or remotely?
I'm based in Phenix City, Alabama, near Columbus, Georgia. I offer both in-person and virtual services.
